From October: send in the R&R (now accepted) and finished one of the two books I had intended to.
For November goals:
-data entry for new project (finish it between me and the RA)
-read two more monographs
-finish book review

I don't imagine I'll have much time today. What I do have, I should spend marking.

I read two manuscripts I am reviewing for different journals on my flight home Sunday. I am going to try to type up my referee reports today and tomorrow and get those in. I started on my revisions for the conditional acceptance. I am curious if anyone has thoughts on this:

Do descriptive statistics go in Methods or Findings? I have them in Findings as they report "results," but the reviewer (only one of three) suddenly wants them moved to Methods "to describe the sample" which has already been described in the introduction and in the Methods section. My current response to keep them in Findings cites numerous articles from the same journal I submitted to which have descriptives in the Methods.

Managed to sneak in a little writing: about 300 words. It's not much, but I'm just glad to be getting back in that headspace.
