Myword

Write a bad review of the book for a journal and elsewhere on the web
Hopefully she will see it or you can send it to her. You may want to do this
With an alias, but that is sneaky. As an independent scholar without a job
I would not let it go. I would be mad enough to get back without getting her fired
if you don't you may be sorry

In addition to contacting her publisher about a retraction, you can start citing your previous work in articles as follows:

As I argued in HappilyTenured (2020), 45: 'I will argue for the first time that the connection between these two events is indisputable, as clear a case of cause and effect as one is likely to find'. Or, as Paraphrasing Sneak (2024), 40, noted, 'My groundbreaking argument is as follows: There is an indisputable link between event a and event b, and one is unlikely to unearth a more stark example of the cause and effect relationship than this'.

Sprinkle a few of these throughout the footnotes of all your upcoming papers, especially if the sneak followed the same progression of thought as you did in the order of your argument, and the picture will become clear to all without having to employ the word plagiarism. You may even become legend.
