Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, did 50 pages of proofing the book length edition. each day.  A lot of looking at manuscript and checking the transcription, rinse and repeat.  Luckily, so far  nothing major..just typos, a couple words. Only 550 pages left to go! (Urgh).  That said, I will be mighty glad to get this edition out of my hair.

Did another 50 pages today and happily realised that I've already done 250 pages of the rest in previous checks with a colleague. So that cuts the work down a lot. So, 250 pages left.

Not going to have much time today, so reading for the referee report, I guess.

Only a little bit, but I did a little work on the book proposal and sorted my benefits allocation and an expense report that had to go through a very confusing system (where the instructions only loosely track what you have to do).

Remaining 2025 goals:

• Book #1 (solo) - submit full draft to the publisher (due in December)
• Book #2 - draft proposal
• Paper #1 (with colleague A) - draft and present it at conferences in July and September
• Paper #2 (with colleague B) - draft and submit to special issue (due in August)
• Paper #3 (with colleague C) - finish draft and submit to journal
• Paper #4 (with colleague E) - draft and submit to special issue (due in June)
• Grant #1 (with colleagues F, G, H) - develop and, if we can all agree, submit proposal
• Paper #5 (with colleagues I, J, K) - R&R due in October

June goals:

• Book #1 - conduct interviews and incorporate interview data
• Paper #3 - finalize and submit to journal
• Paper #4 - finalize and submit to journal

Stretch goals:

• Book #1 - format for publisher
• Book #2 - work on proposal
• Work on paper #5

Paper #3 is out.

Also did an interview for book #1, and have another scheduled for tomorrow morning.

Sun_Worshiper, congrats on the R&R! I have delayed working on the minor revisions so I could finish a book that needed to be returned the library today. I am traveling tomorrow so I will not be able to get anything done.

Did a spurt. So only 50 more pages to go.  I will do my best, but I'm starting to get ocular migraines, and think it is about time just to turn this beast in.  it has been checked twice, and the notes copyedted by an outside party and me, so....  I hope by tomorrow afternoon to send it to the publisher, and then I can have my vacation next week guilt free.

Book 2 with its corrections is now submitted to the press.  Yippeee! The summer beckons. I am making myself as lazy as possible.
