San Joaquin

Yes.  Air quality in the East Bay just nudged well into the Unhealthy zone from the surrounding wildfires.  Coupled with the heatwave, it's a good day to stay indoors, even without AC.  Hydrate, y'all!

It suddenly got very stormy and very, very gusty.  Whew!!

hmaria1609

Rained on and off today and most of yesterday.  We got the remnants of Hurricane Laura.

apl68

Crushingly hot and humid, with a brief but heavy shower yesterday afternoon.  Looking rainy this morning.  Remnants of Laura?  Or harbingers of the next storm?
And you will cry out on that day because of the king you have chosen for yourselves, and the Lord will not hear you on that day.

ergative

Rainy and oppressive. No sun for two days, and the weather feels cold when you're not moving, but if you go outside for a walk you get sweaty and clammy at the same time and it's awful.

Parasaurolophus

It's sunny on this side, but the sea is fogged in. Can't even see the mountains, which aren't far away.
I know it's a genus.

Vkw10

Hot, humid, thunderstorms expected.
Enthusiasm is not a skill set. (MH)

mamselle

Cool, a bit rainy, otherwise OK.

We had a strong front blow in last night, dropping us about 35 degrees (F).  Goodbye AC, hello heat, at least until it gets itself right again.  At least we're not Denver.  Holy crow, over 100 like yesterday and then down to 36 degrees today?!

engineer_adrift

Hot and smoky from fires to the east.  Exceptionally low humidity is not helping fire fighting.  EA

Parasaurolophus

Yesterday was full of fire smoke. Today seems clearer.
I know it's a genus.

We're not Denver, either, but we went from 90s last week to snow this morning.

Do whatever you want--I'm just the background dancer in your show!

San Joaquin

Zombie apocalypse orange sky today and the sun not visible.

Those are some wild temperature swings.  We've been seeing the climate in those bipolar moods the last couple of winters.

But not right now.  Right now the humid, 90s weather continues to persist stubbornly.  September has always been essentially a summer month here, but it used to be milder summer.

Parasaurolophus

The weather is currently undetectable.
I know it's a genus.
