We are having our second snowfall of the season here. Earlier this week was balmy 60s and 70s. Today is below freezing.

We're starting the week with a freeze:

I'll be going to the library with plenty of hot coffee this week!

On Friday afternoon, I drove out of the city in pouring rain, low visibility, and flooded highways. Yesterday, when I got home, I didn't even need a jacket. Today it might get up to 47°--it's 41° now.

I had to remind myself during the weekend that it was November.

Here's a virtual warm cup of organic spiced apple cider! :)

There's snow for the western part of the region in the forecast:

Very good to know, but I'd recommend  mulled wine https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mulled_wine  instead of spiced apple cider on these cold days. :-)
That's not even wrong!

A simple can of warm soup and some hot chocolate will be enough for me when I get home this evening.  I'm mainly just hoping to get home dry.  It's trying to rain on this chilly evening.

Suddenly fall.  Cold.  Dark. Rain. A whole nother world from 3 days ago.

Clear and cold
It was raining steadily as I was driving home last night. The far western parts of the region saw light snow.

Cold! Enough for a Hypothermia Alert to be activated for DC.

Having had two weeks of more or less seasonable weather in late November, we now have almost solid 70s in the forecast for the first full week of December.  I guess we've already blown through our slim ration of winter weather for this season before it even started.  I will once again be running the air conditioner as I do my Christmas shopping, as has been the case for at least the last five years.

A low is passing somewhere not far off (barometer still dropping).  Wet, windy, and very mild (fifty-seven) and I doubt it will be that warm again for quite some many days/weeks to come.  My snow shovel can rest secure and unmolested for at least today.

Dreary. Raining now with snow showers predicted for later tonight.
