Congratulates dino family!
Are you all still in the tiny house? That must have been quite the home birth experience if so (and even if not)!

No, we can't move into the tiny house until we have an active building permit. We did live in a tiny AirBnB for six months, but then a friendly acquaintance wanted to rent the second house on her property, so we're in that, now, and it's huge (1200 sqft, whereas the AirBnB was just about 300).

But this was in an AirBnB on the mainland. The midwives don't come to our island, and there's no hospital for transfers.
I know it's a genus.

Everyone is well.

Congrats!!!

What an adventure -- glad it all turned out OK!

I've been watching a show called This Farming Life about farmers in Scotland and one of the families is on a tiny island and had to temporarily move to "mainland" Orkney (still an island but much bigger) for several weeks before their baby was due in order to be close enough to the hospital.
